This session is the first of two sessions designed to give you the fundamentals on rolling and bringing your kayak upright again.

Within this first session Sammy will be looking at your support strokes and your connectivity with your boat (for hip flicks), looking at the five points of contact.

To get the most out of the rolling clinic you need to book on both sessions.

If you cannot make both there will be another Rolling Clinic later on in the year.

NOTE this is for complete beginners and NOT those who can already roll; please use the open sessions to practice.

To aid the learning experience please view some tutorial videos on the following:

  • Hip Flick or Hip Snap
  • Edge control
  • Low Brace
  • High Brace
  • Sweep Roll
  • C to C Roll
